A VALLEYS artist has created the famous face of television presenter and comedian Alan Carr, using only cereal.
The portrait, which has since been tweeted about by the Channel 4 star, took three hours to complete and consists of Coco Pops, Rice Krispies, All-Bran, Choco Flakes, Cheerios and oats.
Mr Wyburn, 23, who has built his own studio at home in Ebbw Vale and is renowned for making art out of unusual materials, told the Argus: “[Alan Carr] said via a video on Twitter to me he’d love his portrait with cereal, so I was intrigued to take the challenge.
“He then tweeted out the time-lapse YouTube clip of me creating it saying, ‘wow amazing thanks so much’.”
The comic also posted a photograph of himself holding Mr Wyburn’s portrait on his professional Facebook page, alongside the quote: “Snap crackle and pop art!”
Next week the artist flies to Vienna for the next stage of a European television talent show called “Die Grosse Chance”.
Earlier this year Mr Wyburn was commissioned to create art from ketchup inside a box in Helsinki, Finland, and in November 2012 he travelled to Istanbul to make art from toothpaste at the International Dental Congress.
