A SOFT play centre in Caldicot has been honoured in the UK’s first national Soft Play awards.
The Play Farm Ltd, on Severnbridge Industrial Estate, was named runner-up in the competition to find the top soft play centre for children in South Wales.
The centre was the only one in Monmouthshire and one of three in the region to clinch the prestigious award, which is run by the parenting site Netmums.com and saw over 1.6million mums and dads vote for their favourite centre.
The indoor playground, which has padded climbing frames and slides for young children, opened last December and is used by hundreds of children each week.
The group’s director, Hannah Brittan said: “We’d like to thank all the local parents who voted for us. Being voted a runner up in such a big national awards is so exciting. “We are delighted all our hard work has paid off.”
The centre will receive a certificate to display in their centre along with a one-month gold listing and a sought-after ‘Netmums favourite’ badge for their website.
