South Wales Argus: Search continues for missing Newport teen Search continues for missing Newport teen

MORE THAN a week after her disappearance, the search continues for Newport teenager, Nida Ul-Naseer.

Miss Ul-Naseer, 18, of Newport, has not been seen since she stepped outside at her home in Linton Street, at 8pm, on Saturday, December 28.

A major police search operation followed involving sniffer dogs and officers.

Sister Naila Anwar has appealed for information and said the whole family “miss Nida desperately”.

She said: “We want her to know that she is not in trouble at all and we are worried that she could be unwell because of her condition.”

Police previously said the teenager is in need of medication without which she is likely to become anaemic.

Miss Ul-Naseer is of Asian/Pakistani appearance with long dark hair and is slim and 5ft 3in tall. She was last known to be wearing blue jeans and a black top. Anyone with any information, can call 101 and quote log number 448 28/12/13.
