THREE people were hospitalised following a road accident in Caerphilly yesterday.
One person was taken via air ambulance, after the crash which occurred around 1pm on the A469 Caerphilly Mountain Road.
The road - between Ridgeway Golf Club and The Travellers Rest pub- was closed in both directions, but re-opened later in the day.
A Volvo, a Corsa and an Audi were said to have been involved.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said today: “The casualties suffered varying injuries.”
No further update on their conditions was available.
