TWO of Britain’s most successful entrepreneurs will judge this year’s Monmouthshire Business Awards.

Gurpareet Bains, TV chef and bestselling author, and David Jamilly, party planner to the stars and star of Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire, will form the panel on the Judge’s Choice Award.

Mr Bains said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be involved in this year’s Monmouthshire Business Awards.

“It’s clear from last year’s entries that Monmouthshire is home to a formidable array of exceptional businesses, and I am very much looking forward to seeing what this year’s entrants have achieved.”

Mr Jamilly is the owner of Theme Traders, an events company and author of Party People and The Creative Approach to Events. He said: “I’m very excited to be the on the panel for this year’s judges choice award.”

They will replace last year’s celebrity judges Sylvia Marshall, the Daily Mirror columnist, and Jasmine Birtles, the journalist and founder of Money Magpie.

Organiser, Janet Harris said: “The Judges’ Choice Award is a prestigious category and warrants fierce competition among entrants,” Harris said.

“It goes without saying that we are delighted that Gurpareet Bains and David Jamilly have agreed to sit on the panel. We have no doubt whatsoever that they will have their work cut out agreeing on a single overall winner.”
