A WELSH language rally and discussion will take place near Newport railway station tomorrow at 11am outside the Information Station on the Queensway.
Members of the Welsh language community are due to talk about the position of the language in Gwent and Newport in particular.
They have said they aim to celebrate what is good and look at how to better connect Gwent’s 75,000 Welsh speakers.
After the rally, at noon, there will be a meeting inside the Queens Hotel at which Cymdeithas yr Iaith’s national council will listen to people’s views.
