Firecrews tackle deliberate fires in Newport and Cwmbran
FIREFIGHTERS had to tackle several fires overnight and this morning.
A crew from Malpas was called at around 5.04am after refuse was deliberately set alight on Commercial Street.
Refuse was also deliberately set alight near the football courts on Chaffinch Way in Duffryn at 23.43pm last night.
A similar fire was tackled near the fairground on Grange Road in Cwmbran at 9.09pm last night.
