A Cwmcarn schoolgirl who was suspected of plotting to murder a teacher will face no further police action.
The teen from Risca, who was 14 when she was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, was released from any further investigations following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service.
Two Cwmcarn High School pupils were arrested in May.
A second teenage girl, 15, has had her bail extended.
Gwent Police said the girl, from Newbridge, was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, possession of a bladed article on a school premises and conspiracy to commit murder.
