OLIVER and Amelia were the most popular first names given to babies born in Wales in 2013, the Office for National Statistics has revealed.
Oliver was the most popular name, replacing Jacob, while Amelia has been the most popular name since 2012.
There are four boy’s names in the top 10 for Wales which are not in the top 10 for England: Alfie (number 11 in England), Noah (number 13 in England), Riley (number 22 in England), and Dylan (number 33 in England).
There are two girl’s names in the top 10 for Wales which are not in the top 10 for England: Ruby (number 11 in England) and Ella (number16 in England).
