FOUR teenage girls were taken to hospital on yesterday after the car they were travelling in crashed into a tree in Rassau.
The collision happened at 9pm on the Rassau Industrial Estate near Ebbw Vale.
All four girls, three passengers and a driver, were taken to Abergavenny's Nevill Hall Hospital following the collision. Three have been discharged with one of the 17-year-old passengers remaining in hospital.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said she is in a stable condition.
The girls, aged 17 and 18, are all from the local area and were travelling in a Ford Ka.
