MORE than 50 people took part in a festive reindeer making event organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council's countryside service.
The reindeer were constructed from locally-sourced sustainable wood at the Visitor Centre at Parc Cwm Darran.
The countryside rangers were on hand to help and guide the reindeer making.
Senior Ranger Peter Lewis said: "It was great to see parents having so much fun working together with their children, and then having the opportunity to explore the beauty that is on offer at Parc Cwm Darran."
