ABERSYCHAN Comprehensive School performed a pantomime version of Disney’s Aladdin at Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall.

The show was watched by local primary schools during the day and was sold out for the evening performance.

Aladdin was performed by Alistair Henderson whose duet with Kivelli Meadows, as Jasmine, captivated the audience.

This pantomime version of Aladdin had many lead characters and staff at the school said all of them excelled during this performance.

The main narrator was Aladdin’s brother, Wishee Washee. Wishee Washee was played by Alivia Yemm who was able to keep both the children and the adults entertained throughout the whole show. Her impressive karate moves and her comic timing made for a very funny pantomime, with maximum audience participation.

Wishee Washee’s mother, Widow Twankee was played by Callum Smith who kept the audience entertained with his brilliant jokes and superb character skills. He was kept company on stage by his beloved sister, Aunty Twankee, played by Nathan James.
