A POLICE dog helped track down two men after a burglary in Ebbw Vale in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police were called to an address on Tyr Meddyg in Ebbw Vale at around 1:41am to reports of a burglary in progress.
Officers, including police dog 'Noah' and a handler, attended and arrested two Ebbw Vale men, aged 24 and 25, on suspicion of burglary and theft.
The two men remain in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
A Gwent Police spokesman added on the @gpdogsection twitter account: "PD Noah tracked from scene of creeper burglary last night. Through a few streets, a field and a river."
