EBBW VALE artist Nathan Wyburn has helped turn pizza into pieces of art to celebrate 30 years of Domino's Pizza.

The 25-year-old, who appeared on 2011’s Britain’s Got Talent, was commissioned to make edible pizza art to encapsulate famous movie moments from the past 30 years.

The pizza chain held a poll of the nation’s top film characters and moments, with the top five characters becoming temporarily immortalised in an artistic array of toppings on 12 inch bases.

Marty McFly from Back to the Future was named as the top character, with Pulp Fiction’s Mia Wallace, Elsa from Frozen, Twilight’s Edward Cullen and the pair of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey comprising the top five.

There was further success for the 1980s as the iconic lift scene from Dirty Dancing was voted the nation’s top film moment, beating scenes from Titanic and Stars Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.

The art commemorates the third decade of the pizza chain, after the first store opened in the UK in 1985.
