MONMOUTH Male Voice Choir will sing on the pitch before today’s Six Nations rugby international in Cardiff.

They will perform at the Principality Stadium before Wales' match with Scotland, which kicks off at 4.50pm.

Some of the choir’s members are or have been committed rugby players, including Mike Brown, who played over 500 games for Monmouth Rugby Club.

The choir’s chairman Huw Edwards said: “There is probably more talk about rugby than music in the bar after rehearsals. Most of us support Wales of course, some support England and we have also has the odd Scot. Our conductor Ian Russell and accompanist Helen Stidolph have coached us hard for this match and we want to do well for them and all those who have had faith in Monmouth Male Voice Choir.”
