Gwent Police now have a CCTV image of someone they would like to speak to in connection with this.

A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said: "Although the image isn't very clear, someone may be able to recognise the clothing, any information could help."

GWENT Police are investigating a burglary at an address in Chepstow Road, Newport, on Sunday, February 19 sometime between 12:55pm and 5:30pm.

A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said: "The offender/s forced a rear kitchen door open to gain entry and stole a black Chanel handbag - worth £1500 - and a Louis Vuitton Speedy handbag, of an approximate value of £700.

"They also stole a Louis Vuitton shopping bag - worth £880 - and £1800 in cash.

"A silver Ipad Air with a crack on screen, of an approximate value of £300, was also stolen.

"The offenders also took a Pandora charm bracelet full of charms - value unknown at this time - and a gold and silver Michael Kors watch, approximate value of £150.
