GWENT Police are appealing for information following the theft of two high value mountain bikes from a property in the Llanvaches area of Newport.
The theft is thought to have occurred sometime between Sunday, February 5 and Monday, February 6.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: "The bikes, as shown in the photos are a large framed full suspension Scott Spark 10 carbon mountain bike which is black and white with white writing and is worth over £4, 000.
"A medium frame full suspension Whyte M109 – C Team carbon mountain bike which is matt black with turquoise writing and is also worth over £4, 000."
If anyone has any information about the theft of these bikes or if you’re aware of their whereabouts, please call 101 quoting log 366 6/2/16.
