MONMOUTH MP David Davies shot this dramatic video as the attack happened.

He was walking between his office at Portcullis House and the Houses of Parliament when the attack happened.

“I was walking with (Welwyn Hatfield MP) Grant Shapps just yakking away when we heard shouting and one shot,” he said.

“We dropped to the floor and behind a pillar when we heard more shots.

“I flipped my phone camera on because I didn’t know what was going on and thought it might have been useful as evidence.

“There wasn’t a sense of panic, but concern over what was happening.”

The Conservative MP said he had run when he heard the shots.

“That’s what we’ve been trained to do, we’ve been told about the possibility of this happening,” he said.

“It seems like people have lost their lives so our thoughts have to be with them, and with the police and ambulance services.

“We’re in a safe area now but they’re still out there.

“There’s a sense of concern for others.

“There’s no sense of panic, we’re raiding peoples’ offices for tea.”
