A RAPPER is aiming to inspire young people to follow their dreams with the release of his debut album which tells his personal story.
Shane Ford, of Fairwater, Cwmbran, says his album Climbing Mountains tells the story of his journey from being suicidal and homeless to finding positivity and realising his music dreams. The album will feature his new track Alive, released on Saturday.
"I have had a lot of ups and downs which have led me to this point," said Mr Ford, 30, also known as Pridez.
"The album is about my journey to the point I am at now. I have been homeless and I have been suicidal at one point. But I want to tell people that even if things are not going well it's not the end."
Mr Ford says he also hopes to inspire young people who are interested in getting involved in music. The album is on iTunes and Amazon. Order a CD via PayPal or contact Pridez on Facebook.
