PONTYPOOL Park Friends will be opening the doors to two of the town’s most famous and historic landmarks on Bank Holiday Monday – August 28.
The Folly and Grotto, both located in Pontypool Park, will be welcoming guests between the hours of 11am and 3pm to allow visitors to sample the views from the tower, which is only occasionally open to the public, and experience the ornate shell design inside the Grade-II listed former hunting lodge.
Pontypool Park Friends was formed in 2010 and is a group of volunteers who seek to “maintain and promote all that Pontypool Park has to offer”.
