Train speeds due to be cut from midday today, says Arriva Trains Wales.
PASSENGERS using Arriva Trains Wales services are being warned to expect delays to services due to poor weather caused by Hurricane Ophelia.
Strong winds are expected to build as the day progresses, with services in west Wales hit hardest - but there is likely to be some disruption across south Wales.
The company is warning that for safety reasons, trains will have to run at reduced speed on many routes from midday onwards, resulting in delays and short notice alterations.
