Jon Lilygreen from Newport and Russell Jones from Sebastopol did not get chosen during the six-chair challenge heat of the show.
Russell Jones took to social media to thank his fans. He said: "Thank you so much for your support in The X Factor, really means a lot.
"Thank you for everything, it's not the end it's the start."

Jon Lilygreen's departure was a dramatic one which left many fans furious.
After singing one of his own songs he was given a seat by judge Nicole Scherzinger. But then it was taken away Tracy Leanne Jefford who was chosen for the judges' final six.
