Fire at a park in in Ebbw Vale was 'deliberate'
A FIRE which caused damage to a public park was started deliberately, police have said.
Gwent Police have issued an appeal following the deliberate fire in Ebbw Vale Park.
A spokeswoman said: "We’re appealing for information following a deliberate fire in the park at the rear of Pennant Street in Ebbw Vale.
"The fire was originally started in a rubbish bin and caused damage to flooring in the park.
"The incident took place at approximately 8.15pm on Tuesday 14th November 2017.
If anyone has any information about the incident Police have asked people to call 101 quoting log 472 14/11/17 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
