FAMILIES across Blaenau Gwent can remember their loved ones this Christmas by joining the Hospice of the Valleys' annual Light Up a Life Appeal.
In return for making a donation, families can sponsor a light on the Christmas tree at Festival Park, Ebbw Vale and have a message in memory of a family member or friend in the hospice's Light Up A Life books.
Three Books of Remembrance will be displayed in the manager’s office at Festival Park throughout November and December as well as the visitor centre at Bryn Bach Park, Tredegar, and at the Metropole Theatre in Abertillery.
Afterwards the books will be displayed at the Hospice of the Valleys’ offices in Tredegar.
A Christmas carol service is also being organised as part of the appeal, which will take place at the entrance to the Festival Park shopping centre, at 6pm on Thursday, December 18.
