THE family of a Newport woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s will complete a skydive this month in aid of charity Dementia UK.
Sue Payne, 64, of Llanthewy Road, was diagnosed with the condition three years ago.
But not letting this get in the way of her life, she has continually been supported by her family, who have decided to take on this massive challenge to help others like her.
Mrs Payne’s husband John, 68, their sons Alex, 39, and Nick, 36, as well as their grandson Levi, 16, will all complete the daredevil challenge in Swansea on October 30.
Friends of the family Liza Fox- Fitzgerald and Liz Moore will also join in.
John said: “Sue is doing brilliantly.
The boys wanted to do something to help so I said I would do it with them too.”
The group aim to raise at least £5,000. To sponsor them visit justgiving.com/paynegroupskydive
