A FRESH flood warning was issued today.
Environment Agency Wales is warning of further heavy rainfall forecast from Saturday night through to Monday morning.
After a relatively dry day tomorrow, heavy rain will return in the evening affecting the whole of the country but especially the eastern parts of Wales throughout Sunday.
Although river levels have risen in response to recent rainfall they are not expected to rise to levels that would cause flooding, however there is concern of flooding from blocked drains, small streams and ditches. Officers are continuing to monitor river levels closely.
People are reminded to take care while driving, and listen to weather and traffic reports for any localised disruption.
