TWO men were today found guilty of the murder of a man found dead on Chepstow Road in Newport.
A jury at Cardiff Crown Court found Kamil Semrau, 28, of Chepstow Road and Pawel Lysonik, 22, of Capel Crescent, both Newport, guilty of the murder of Ramunas Raulinautis who died of serious burns outside a hotel on the city street.
Lukas Kalkowski, 30, of Laundry Road, Pontypridd and Stanislaw Gliszczynski, 31, of no fixed abode were found not guilty of the murder of Ramunas Raulinautis.
Kalkowski and Gliszczynski were found guilty of causing grevious bodily harm with intent to Ramunas Raulinautis and causing arson with intent to endanger life.
Pawel Lysonik was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Stanislaw Galeza, while Lukas Kalkowski and Stanislaw Gliszczynski were found not guilty of the attempted murder of Stanislaw Galeza.
