NEWPORT High School Old Boys RFC will hold its first ever music festival on Saturday.
It is the day of its presentation ceremony for each age group, but organisers have decided to incorporate live acts this year to attract people from all over the community and raise funds.
The action will kick off at 3pm on the first-team pitch and continue until 9pm, with the headline act Caerleon band Innovence.
Club spokeswoman Caroline Studley said, “Newport HSOB is proud of its reputation as a club for all the family, and this event epitomises our philosophy.”
Tickets are £3 each or £6 for a family of four, with all money raised going towards enhancing facilities at the ground, The Hawthorns, which is off Usk Road in Caerleon.
