Fundraiser bike ride is 58 miles A CHARITY bike ride from Newport to Cheltenham will take place in August to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
The ride is part of Iceland’s Cycle Britain, which aims to raise £1 million for the charity this year.
The 58-mile ride from Newport to Cheltenham takes place on August 24 and will pass Chepstow Castle and into the Forest of Dean.
Iceland is covering the costs of the ride, so all money raised will go to Alzheimer’s Research UK.
It costs £10 to take part and each cyclist needs to raise £200.
