AN ANCIENT malt house and adjoining former Thai restaurant in Monmouth are to go under the auctioneer’s hammer.
The three-storey building at 10-14 St Mary Street, which most recently traded as the Dragons Den Thai restaurant has a guide price of £275,000.
It also includes a large maisonette at the front of the building and the large former malt house at the back.
Paul Fosh, of Paul Fosh Auctions, said: "This is an important and substantial property in the centre of Monmouth."
"The property currently has an A3 restaurant and cafe consent but as it is situated in a largely residential area may have scope for conversion to some residential use subject to planning."
The property is due to be sold at the next Paul Fosh auction which takes place at The Park Inn Hotel, Llanederyn, Cardiff at 5pm on August 2.
