THREE Gwent men appeared in court charged with robbery.
Harvey Wedlake, 21, of Wayside, St Arvan's, Chepstow, Ryan Harrison, 18, of Upper Church Street, Chepstow, and Joshua James, 20, of Caerau Road, Newport, appeared in Newport Crown Court.
All three were charged with one count of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery and escape from lawful custody. James was also charged with assault.
Wedlake pleaded not guilty to all the charges, James pleaded guilty to robbery, assault and escape from lawful custody and Harrison pleaded guilty to all the charges.
The court heard Wedlake will stand trial on October 30 and the men will be sentenced once that has been concluded.
Wedlake and Harrison were granted bail, James was remanded in custody.
