Teen reported after tunnel crash

A TEENAGER has been reported to the courts for driving without due care and attention following a crash in Newport's eastbound Brynglas Tunnel earlier.
The 17-year-old, from Aberdare, was driving a silver Citroen C2 when it collided with a white Fiat Diablo van at 9.55am.

No one was injured but one lane of the M4 motorway inside the tunnel was closed while the vehicles were recovered. It reopened around 11am.
Police said the teenager will be dealt with by Gwent Magistrates for the motoring offence.
There are still up to four miles of traffic tailbacks.
