Man found in Cwmbran canal identified (From South Wales Argus)

SCENE: A PCSO guards the place where a man’s body was found in Cwmbran

A MAN found in a canal near Cwmbran Retail Park has now been identified.

Police had appealed for help to identify the man after he was found on Saturday morning at around 9.25am by a member of staff from nearby PC World.

A spokesman for the police said his family have been contacted and are being supported by a family liason officer.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.
