A MAN assaulted in an Abergavenny pub sustained injuries to his arm and collar bone.

The 40-year-old man was treated at Neville Hall Hospital and has since been released.

Gwent Police are appealing for information after the assault that was reported to have taken place in the rear beer garden of The Auberge pub in Abergavenny some time between midnight and 12.45am on Saturday 15th September.

They ask that anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

This pub has been walking a thin line with the authorities for some time. They can't afford much more of this.
