A NINE-GIRL harmony group from Cwmbran have set their sights on an open mic competition.
Dolce are through to the Cardiff regional final of Open Mic competition and will be performing on October 20 at the Coal Exchange, Cardiff.
Along with 12 other acts, they sang at the Diamond Kids South West and Wales regional final at the Princess Theatre in Torquay on October 7.
Unfortunately they narrowly missed getting through but received glowing compliments from the judges. They lost out to a ventriloquism performer.
They are now looking forward to the Open Mic competition in Cardiff.
All members of Dolce are part of the Nidus Children’s Choir in Cwmbran.
