TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after a body of a 60-year-old man was found at a Newport house on Tuesday.

The man's body was discovered at a house on Ailsbury Street in Crindau.

Gwent Police said that following initial post mortem findings they are not treating the man's death as supicious.

The man's body was found at the house which police had visited just hours earlier while investigating a burglary.

The death is now being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission after police failed to discover the body of the man until eight hours after the original burglary report.

A 15-year-old from Newport and a 14-year-old from Cwmbran were arrested on suspicion of burglary and are currently in custody.
