THE winners of the inaugural Gwent School Awards will be announced in a ceremony tomorrow evening.
The awards, in partnership with the University of South Wales (USW), will recognise the extraordinary commitment and dedication of school staff. Following a judging day in the USW Newport campus hundreds of nominations were considered for their merits.
There was a broad range of people nominated, from teachers and teaching assistants to governors and parent teacher associations.
Winners will be chosen from three category finalists and they will be awarded at this evening’s event at the Coldra Court Hotel.
All the winners and pictures from the award’s evening will feature in Monday’s paper.
