SEARCHING for a missing child or family member can often feel like looking for a needle in a haystack.
But the more people join the search, the more likely missing children and vulnerable adults can be found safe and well. Right now we are searching for 21 vulnerable missing people in Wales. Their families are desperately worried and need to know everything possible is being done to find them. Poster and social media campaigns allow the charity Missing People to get the message out quickly to volunteers, partners and members of the public. As a lifeline when someone disappears, our new number 116 000 makes it easy for anyone with information about a missing person to contact us free and in confidence, and players of People’s Postcode Lottery make this possible. We are immensely grateful that players across the UK have raised well over £1.8 million for Missing People to date. We’d like to thank all players in Newport and throughout Wales we could not search for missing people without such generous contributions.
