Knowledgeable candidate

I WRITE in support of Ian Johnston as Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner.

Ian has all the qualities required for the post. He has experience, knowledge and communication skills and he is very sympathetic to the needs of the public, Gwent police and police issues. He is more than worthy of the post and I feel would make an excellent Police and Crime Commissioner. I urge everyone to vote for him on the November 15.

S Williams, Chartist Way, Blackwood

On the inside says...

Mr Johnston's personal integrity is beyond reproach. However he spent 33 years working with the very people who are now running the police service in Gwent. Every decision he makes will be open to the suggestion he was influenced by his ex colleagues.

Hamish Sanderson carrys no such baggage.
