I READ with interest in the Now and Then article about Llanwern (RTB). I have happy memories of working in the cold mill. I started there labouring, then went to tractor driving, taking rolls from the roll shop and vice versa, to the temper mills and shunting the bogies up and down the temper mill. They nicknamed me Romell on C shift. It’s good to know my old mates, Tony Bishop and Dave Brown, are still around.
