SITTING in my car parked in Ivor Street off Hill Street on November 7, keys in the ignition, hand on the door, ready to drive home, a white male walking towards my car, in a split second, he yanked the door open and stole my bag off my arm with money which I had drawn from the bank, mobile phone, etc and ran towards Palmyra Place, leaving me in shock and very upset. Can I, through the South Wales Argus, thank the young man whose name I only know as Rob who phoned the police and stayed with me until they arrived.
The community policeman was very caring and professional, escorting me to my bank to cancel my card and I am most grateful to Rob and the police for all their care.
