Thanks for the festive cheer

I WOULD like to thank all the Poppy Sellers for helping raise more than £20,000 in this year’s appeal, also all the places that helped, but most of all the people of Newport for their generosity.
Next I would like to thank all the staff on the Bill Hobbs Ward at The Royal Gwent Hospital for the treatment and care I received. And last but by no means least the staff of The British Statistics Office for the afternoon’s entertainment, all involved in the pantomime, the cooks for a lovely dinner, Rachel Meese, Julie Taylor, Sharon Colin who looked after our corner, but above all Ms Buttigeig who organised such a splendid day.
