PLAID Cymru Caerphilly councillors have put a motion to try and reverse the decision to give top officers pay rises of up to 30 per cent.
This motion will only succeed if it’s backed by Labour backbenchers. I hope these Labour councillors don’t start playing party politics and show some backbone and do the right thing.
If they don’t the people wouldn’t be forgetting their actions. Especially those who are having their council tax benefit cut because the Welsh Labour government in Cardiff won’t help.
