Tell us abouth the mess

IT’S great that Mr West supports Caerphilly Council’s anti-dog fouling campaign (Argus, 15 January).

We know that dog mess is a real issue for many Caerphilly county borough residents. I’m sorry Mr West has found that some dog waste bins are overflowing. I hope that he and other Caerphilly Council residents with concerns about dog fouling - will call our Council’s Waste Strategy and Operations team on 01443 866566 to report any problems.

Overflowing dog mess bins? I hope it is more a sign that the people are taking responsibility and not because they aren't being emptied. I think private dog mess enforcers would be a huge mistake. Keep the awareness going, good job!
