eBay fee would ease shop trade

FEW would disagree that modern PCs and laptops are fantastic tools, more so than most other tools.

Little wonder that public trading by computer can cause chaos in our shops, surely then the answer is to make it cost all vendors a fee to use eBay and the like. I’d like to see Wales lead the way on bringing this about since the country seems to care about its shopping centres. It’s surely not beyond the wit of man to find a way of doing it, and if it is then perhaps the job should be given to a woman, might I suggest Leanne Wood, of Plaid, since she seems to be able to get things done!

I don't wish to be mean here but why is it always the same people that want to legislate on matters that they don't understand and have no interest in!

This letter bears all the hallmarks of an out of touch technophobe. None of it makes any sense. You don't want to pay tax on goods you already paid tax on . . . do you?

Have you taken your brain medicine recently Mr Jackson?

I really hope the Argus publishes a book of the most stupid letters ever one day, it would make a good toilet read. This letter would easily make it into the book.

Can I ask, why have the Argus printed this utter nonsense?

Is Walt Jackson a real person or a dinosaur?

The Argus loses credibility when this type of **** is printed.

Anyone remember the Bob Newhart "Nutty Walt" Sir Walter Raleigh in the collonies sketch?

I'm glad the Argus print letters like Walts. Oh, mine have been 'cut' for sarcasm or a criticism too strong a few times, but by and large they are right on, even taught me a little bit about myself.

This is healthy for us, and for Walt too.

I do like a bit of sarcasm. Apparently the lowest form of wit but it has it's merits in crap like this.
