I AM writing a book on the building formally known as the Mount School, Welsh Street, Chepstow, and am keen to contact people who attended the school.
Also, anyone who was there prior to it being used as a school. I would like to use your readers’ column to appeal for teachers and pupils to contact me and help me in my projects. I am in contact with some 50 ex-students and staff and some of the experiences and memories they have shared with me are rather surprising. I will share the list of names with anyone concerned and who requests it, enabling ex pupils to find long-lost friends.
