Charity's help is still needed
3:51pm Monday 4th February 2013 in Letters
This year will be the 70th anniversary of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), a registered charity providing friendship, help and support to current and former servicemen and women. A significant part of our work involves the welfare of ex-servicemen and women who have a desperate need for assistance and, sadly too often, who no-one else can help, particularly today.
The Chepstow & District Branch of the RAFA will hold its annual meeting at 7.45pm on Thursday, February 21, in the Chepstow Athletic Club on Mathern Road, Chepstow (NP16 5JT). The meeting is open to all. Nominations for office (president, chairman, deputy-chairman, treasurer and secretary) should be sent to the secretary at 8 Sarum Close, Bristol, BS167HF (pmduke@gmail.com).
