Let's dig for King Arthur

OK, they found and dug up Richard III, and now they are going for Alfred the Great. So why not go for the ‘triple crown’ and find ‘our Arthur’, late of Caerleon, Newport, South Wales. If they do, he could then be interred in Newport cathedral - that should bring in a few shoppers and tourists to the town.

The problem with this idea is that Richard 3rd. was real .King Arthur was a romantic, nationalist myth created to keep the british identity seperate from the Germanic Angle, Jute and Saxon invaders. With the hope of a British fightback in their future. It's just a myth.

I would suggest that digging is well under way in Caerleon... Have a look at the dreadful mess at Trinity View ..
