IS there any truth in the rumour that MPs of all parties are now pooling their expenses to buy one of the empty countries on the continent, whereby they can rule from afar without having to live in the shambles they created?
Bulgaria and Romania will be available for purchase next year at knock-down prices, making a warmer alternative to Poland. If only I’d gone into politics as a young man, I just didn’t like the idea of having my brain removed, which is now standard EU procedure.
