I WAS very interested to read Neil Milkins’ account of Harold Jones. Back in the thirties, my mother threatened us with being put up in Harold Jones’ attic if we misbehaved. It was many years before I became aware of the significance behind the saying. I would like to read Every Mother’s Nightmare, good title! it certainly gives many a nightmare to lots of children in our village, Markham, near Blackwood.
